WordPress rescue · fixed price · 10–14 days
Your site isn’t slow because of hosting. It’s slow because of how it was built.
We rebuild dated, page-builder WordPress sites as clean, fast systems — your content and your page addresses carried over intact, nothing renamed and nothing lost. Fixed price, measured result, one person responsible.
No account, no call. Enter your address, get three findings.
The real cause
Nobody broke your website. It was built the way everyone built them.
The page builder
Elementor, Divi and friends make editing easy by shipping a heavy layer of code to every visitor. Five years of edits later, that layer weighs more than your content.
Plugin creep
A slider here, a form there, an analytics tag someone added once. Each one loads its own scripts and styles — on every page, whether it is used or not.
Nothing was ever removed
Pages got added, never retired. Old templates stayed. The site kept growing sideways until no one could say what was still in use.
Two ways to answer this
Most “speed services” treat the symptom. We remove the cause.
Caching and optimisation plugins
They compress and cache the mess so it arrives faster. It works for a while, then the next plugin or content change undoes it — because the underlying build never changed. Painkillers, not treatment.
Rebuilding the system
We replace the page-builder layer with a light theme built on a small design system. Your text and images move across intact. The site is fast because there is nothing left to slow it down.
What the change looks like
Same content. Same address. A different machine underneath.
Mobile PageSpeed Insights lab score. Your starting point is measured in the diagnosis, before any promise is made.
How it goes
Five steps, and you only decide once.
Free check
Enter your address. You get your current speed score, what built the site, and the three things hurting it most.
Diagnosis
We go through the site properly: what is slowing it down, what is worth keeping, what breaks if we touch it. You get a designed PDF diagnosis, a recording of your own site loading, and a fixed quote with a date.
Safety first
Full backup, then a private staging copy. Your live site is not touched until the new one is finished and you have seen it.
The rebuild
Content moves onto a clean template set. Links, forms, tracking and redirects are carried over deliberately — not hoped for.
Go live, then watch
We switch over, measure again, and stay on it for seven days. You get a short handover guide and, if you want it, ongoing care.
Price
Fixed, before we start.
The diagnosis is paid because it is real work — and it comes off the price entirely if you go ahead. After that there is one number, agreed in writing.
Designed PDF diagnosis, a recording of your site loading, and a fixed quote. Credited in full against the rebuild.

The guarantee
Your main page will reach a mobile PageSpeed Insights lab score of 85 or better, measured three times on three different days within the seven days after go-live, all three at 85 or higher, with third-party scripts added after handover excluded. If we don’t reach it, we keep working at no charge until we do.
Said plainly: this is the lab score, which is a controlled measurement. It is not the same as the field data Google collects from your real visitors — that also depends on your hosting, your audience’s devices and anything added later. We measure both and show you both.
Honest fit
This is not for every site.
A good fit
- WordPress, built 3–8 years ago
- 10–40 pages, content mostly still true
- Built with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery or similar
- Slow and dated, but you don’t want to start over
- You can give access, or your host can
Not a fit — we’ll say so
- Shops with more than ~50 products or custom checkout
- Memberships, courses, logged-in areas
- Large multilingual sites
- Anything not WordPress
- No backup or access available
If you’re outside this, the check will tell you straight away rather than waste your time.
Questions people actually ask
Before you hand over a website.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
That is the first thing we protect — by preserving what search engines rely on, not by promising an outcome we do not control. Your addresses stay the same wherever possible, and where a page has to move we put a permanent redirect in place. Links buried inside page-builder data get extracted before anything is rebuilt — that is the single most common way rankings quietly disappear during a redesign.
Do I lose my content?
No. Text and images move across. What changes is the machinery underneath and the way pages are laid out. We agree in the diagnosis what stays, what gets merged and what is retired.
Can I still edit the site afterwards?
Yes — it stays WordPress, and everything remains editable from the same admin you already know. You lose the page builder, which is the point; you gain a set of clean templates that are far harder to break.
What if my site goes down during the work?
It doesn’t. Everything happens on a private copy. Your live site keeps running untouched until the new version is finished, reviewed by you and switched over deliberately — with a full backup to fall back on.
Why is the diagnosis paid?
Because it is the real work: several hours of going through your site properly and putting our name on a fixed price. It comes off the rebuild in full, so if you go ahead it costs you nothing extra. If you don’t, you keep a document that tells you exactly what is wrong.
Who actually does this?
One person, named, who has been building and repairing WordPress sites for years — not a queue of subcontractors. That is also why there are only a few slots each month.
