Ten steps from a free check to a site that is measurably faster — and what each one costs you in time and money.
Free check
You enter your address. Within a couple of minutes you get your current mobile speed score, what your site was built with, roughly how many pages it has, and the three problems doing the most damage. Nothing is installed and nothing is changed.
Fit check
A few short questions — platform, size, blog archive, shop or memberships, whether access exists. You get a straight answer immediately: either this service suits your site, or it doesn’t and here is why. We would rather lose the job than take one we shouldn’t.
Diagnosis
This is where someone actually goes through your site. Where the loading time really goes. What the previous build left behind. Which pages earn their place and which are dead weight. What could break — forms, integrations, translations — and how we would handle it. You receive a designed PDF diagnosis, a short screen recording of your own site loading, and a fixed price with a delivery date.
Your decision
If the answer is no, you keep the diagnosis and we part on good terms. If it is yes, you get an invoice — paid in full up front for Small and Core, half and half for larger projects — and a start date. No retainer, no subscription, no surprises later.
Backup and staging
Before anything is touched, we take a complete backup and build a private copy of your site at a hidden address. All work happens there. Your live site keeps running exactly as it is, and there is always a version to fall back to.
The rebuild
First we extract every link buried inside the page-builder’s data — this is the step most rebuilds skip, and it is how sites quietly lose their search rankings. Then content moves onto a clean template set built from a small design system: home, inner page, article, listing, contact. Forms are rebuilt and tested. Analytics is carried over. Redirects are written for anything whose address changes.
Measure and check
Speed measured three times on mobile. Every link tested. Every form submitted. Mobile layout checked on real screen sizes. Before-and-after screenshots taken. You get the numbers, not adjectives.
Your review
You get the staging address and go through it. Collect everything you want changed and send it in one go — that single round is included and is almost always enough, because the diagnosis settled the big questions weeks earlier.
Go live
We switch over, clear caches, verify every redirect and measure again on the live site. Then we watch it for seven days — the window in which the guarantee applies. You get a short handover guide showing how to edit your own pages.
Afterwards
You own everything and owe nothing further. If you would rather not think about updates and backups again, ongoing care is $99 a month with written limits on what it covers. It is an offer, never an assumption.

A fixed price only works if both sides know where it stops. This is the standard scope for Rescue Core; anything outside it is quoted separately, never assumed.
